كالأرز في لبنان ارتفعت  Like a cedar on Lebanon I am raised aloft

وكالسرو في جبال حرمون  Like a cypress on Mount Hermon

كالنخل في عين جدي ارتفعت  Like a palm tree in Engedi

وكغراس الورد في اريحا  Like a rosebush in Jericho

كالزيتون النضير في السهل  Like a fair olive tree in the field

وكالدلب ارتفعت  Like a plane tree growing beside the water

إني مددت اغصاني كالبطمة  I spread out my branches like a terebinth

واغصاني اغصان مجد ونعمة  My branches so bright and so graceful

أنا كالكرمة أنبت النعمة  I bud forth delights like the vine

وازهاري ثمار مجد وغنى        My blossoms become fruit fair and rich
 Come to me, all you that yearn for me تعالوا إلي أيها الراغبون في 
                                And be filled with my fruits  واشبعوا من ثماري
